PT/SLP couple new to travel therapy

Unread post by Kylasue » Sat Sep 10, 2016 7:53 pm

We are planning to begin travel therapy within the year. Our question is about pay. I have read that the rate should be between $1600-$1900 per week, does this amount include stipend money?

Also, can I please get an email on some recruiters? So we can have a starting point. Here is my email: [email protected].

Depending on where you go, yes that sounds about right for pay. Where you are makes all the difference in the pay.

Someone said to me recently, which is the best description I've ever heard of traveling pay: "$1450 to $1800 per week with some opportunities to make more than that." $1450 is low and $1800 is pretty high.

Those numbers are take home pay after taxes are taken out, with the housing stipend (not having the company arrange housing for you), and with per diem as well. I'm not quite sure how pay translates to SLP, but I imagine rates are similar.
